Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-year previous industrial blasting experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot common issues.
• Intermediate math skills expected.
• Basic safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Apply proper blast profile to product, removing oil and dirt.
• Mask areas with tape and masking paper to protect during painting.
• Remove tape and masking after paint dries.
• Caulking as needed with pneumatic/hand-pump guns.
• Move product into the paint booth and coordinate job flow.
• Prepare surface for painting, sands as needed.
• Perform quality assurance checks and required paperwork.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and blast protection inventory.
• Carry out duties to run a safe, efficient department with minimal downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.
