Amentum is seeking a painter to apply primers and coatings to contract units at the Red River Army Depot. The role involves surface preparation, masking, and applying various coatings in accordance with customer specifications.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED, color vision, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain necessary credentials. Candidates may need to pass a pre-employment screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Must have normal color vision.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English.

Responsibilities

• Coats surfaces of contract units with primer, paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material.
• Removes old paint using liquid paint remover and scraper.
• Smooths surfaces and prepares for painting to meet customer specifications.
• Masks areas not to be painted and applies insignia/letters as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
