Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation Technology, or related field is required.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical support, preferably within industrial automation.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and supporting customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues involving industrial automation products and systems.
- Provide technical guidance and problem resolution to customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Analyze product performance, failure trends, and technical data to recommend improvements.
- Support equipment troubleshooting related to PLCs, HMIs, and industrial controls.
- Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and best practices.
- Contribute to development and improvement of technical support processes and protocols.
- Stay current with industrial automation trends, technologies, and safety standards.
- Use CRM systems and documentation tools to track cases.
