Job summary

Mural Group’s partner, a wire manufacturing operation, seeks an Industrial Automation Reliability Technician for the Dayton, TX area. You will diagnose and repair production equipment across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic domains, with PLCs for control systems but no programming required.

This role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical troubleshooting, and ability to read schematics. Expect a night shift with autonomy and emphasis on documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills; essential for the role.
• Familiarity with PLCs (no programming access), motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and apply schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Rapid diagnosis and repair of production equipment across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic domains.
• Troubleshooting of PLC-driven machinery and control systems (no programming required).
• Preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Repair and replacement of motors, drives, sensors, and associated components.
• Light fabrication/modification using shop equipment when necessary.
• Accurate logging of work performed and effective shift-to-shift communication.
• Consistent upkeep of a safe, orderly workspace.
