Job summary

Strive Solutions is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to support our manufacturing operations by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial control systems and PLCs. You will diagnose equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and help ensure reliable plant performance.

In this role you will program and modify PLCs and HMIs, work with VFDs and motor controls, and interpret electrical schematics.

Qualifications

Proficiency with PLC programming and HMI configuration/modification.
Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial automation and control systems.
Experience with VFDs and motor control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for industrial equipment.
Commitment to safety and effective teamwork.

Responsibilities

Diagnose equipment issues and perform corrective actions to restore reliable operation.
Program, modify, and maintain PLCs and HMIs.
Work with VFDs, motor controls, and related electrical components.
Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial control systems.
Support process improvements and continuous optimization of plant systems.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams in a safety-focused environment.
