Job summary

Dee Zee, Inc. seeks an Electrical/Automation Engineer to continuously improve process controls and robotic equipment. You will modify PLC and robot programs, troubleshoot equipment, and design/control circuits for safe, efficient manufacturing.

Collaboration with operations and engineering teams is essential to drive improvements and ensure quality. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering disciplines, 2–4 years of related experience, and proficiency with CAD and Studio 5000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Computer Engineering/Computer Science preferred.
• Two to four years related experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate computer literacy; Experience with CAD software and Studio 5000 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing PLC and robot programs.
• Study blueprints, schematics, manuals to determine installation procedures.
• Set up and test industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, or calibrate industrial machines.
• Coordinate efforts with others installing or maintaining equipment.
• Program robots for sequences and teach pendant guidance.
• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC control systems and relay circuits.
• Stopping production for non-conformant products when needed.
• Support environmental policy with process improvements.
