Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an Industrial Athletic Trainer to deliver evidence-based musculoskeletal care and injury prevention at client worksites, with MSK screens and OSHA-level first aid as applicable. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to educate employees, run wellness initiatives, and document activities in the EMR.

The role emphasizes engagement across organizational levels, effective communication, and ongoing safety coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from a CAATE-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an industrial setting or 5 years in a professional setting, or equivalent.
• State license in good standing and current BLS certification.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide musculoskeletal care and injury prevention education.
• Deliver body mechanics education, coaching, ergonomics, and safety information onsite.
• Perform MSK wellness assessments and initial injury screens as needed.
• Maintain documentation and client-specific reports in EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver care and ensure safety.
