Job summary

Comp-Air Ohio, a trusted Gardner Denver distributor in Northern Ohio, seeks a field service technician to diagnose, maintain and repair industrial compressors on-site. You will service refrigerated and desiccant dryers, install new equipment and plant air piping, and travel to customer sites as required.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of compressor experience, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, refrigeration recovery certification, and a practical tool set for electrical work.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years working with industrial compressors or related machinery.
• Strong electrical control troubleshooting and repair capability.
• Refrigeration recovery certificate.
• General understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
• Own standard tool set and electrical meters.
• Customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• On-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for multi-brand air compressors.
• Full-service care for refrigerated and desiccant dryers.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant air piping.
