Job summary

Mid-West Forge Corporation in Cleveland, OH seeks a Heat Treat Operator to set up and run induction units, perform tests, and ensure parts meet customer requirements. You will prepare samples, monitor data, and operate automation with safety and quality in mind.

The role requires basic schooling and minimal experience; training is provided. You will work in a fast-paced facility with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment, following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate induction units and automation to run scheduled parts.
• Test parts for surface hardness and case depth.
• Document test data and maintain accurate records.
• Handle samples, inspect splines, and manage defects per Work Instructions.
• Clear robot faults and jams and transport parts as needed.
• Maintain tool calibration and check part counts.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to foreman.
