Job summary

Windham Middle School is seeking a part-time Coach for the Indoor Track and Field program. The successful candidate will work after school/evening sessions and mentor student-athletes in Track and Field, emphasizing sportsmanship and personal responsibility.

Responsibilities include enforcing district behavior and academic expectations, and collaborating with teachers and counselors on academic monitoring as needed. Prior coaching or participation in track and field is required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience participating and/or coaching Track and Field.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor student-athletes in track and field.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, work ethic, and responsibility.
• Enforce district and department behavioral and academic expectations for student-athletes.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors and other academic support staff on academic monitoring when necessary.
