Job summary

Codman Academy Charter Public School is seeking an Indoor Track Coach for middle and high school teams. You will assist the Head Varsity Coach in planning practices, developing skills, and fostering teamwork in a positive environment.

The ideal candidate brings leadership, strong organization, and a commitment to inclusion, with CPR/First Aid certification and knowledge of MIAA rules. This seasonal role supports student-athletes while upholding school policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the sport and experience leading and organizing a team.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Completion of annual Youth Sports Concussion Training Certification.
• Successful completion of the MIAA Coaches Education Course.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting regular practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Work alongside the Head Varsity Coach to ensure a seamless training experience for middle and high school athletes.
• Instruct student-athletes in the fundamentals of the sport while fostering personal and athletic growth.
• Ensure all middle school student-athletes meet eligibility requirements and adhere to team expectations.
• Promote leadership, integrity, and discipline among athletes.
