Job summary

Stonington High School is seeking a dedicated athletics/activities coach for a high school track program as a stipend position. The role requires CT Coaching (600 endorsement) and willingness to stay after school to run this program. Preference given to SHS employees and certified educators with coaching experience.

Responsibilities and program goals will be set by SHS administration with guidance from the athletic director and head coach. Remuneration is a stipend of $3,563.00 under SEA CBA.

Qualifications

• CT Coaching (600 endorsement) required.
• Preference to Stonington High School employees.
• Preference to certified educators.
• Must be willing to stay after school to run this program.
• Knowledge of track and field events required; preference to candidates with experience in high jump and long jump.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
