Job summary

Apex Park and Recreation District in Colorado is seeking soccer officials for Apex Field House to support youth and adult leagues year-round. Officials play a vital role in managing games, clock operation, safety monitoring, and enforcing Field House rules during both indoor and outdoor soccer activities.

Candidates should have a soccer background, be at least 16 years old, and be willing to undergo training and testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Have a background in soccer.
• Must be able to pass a written test on Apex Field House rules and participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Manage games and run the score clock.
• Monitor participants to ensure safety and fair play.
• Respond to signals or emergencies as needed.
• Be available for weekend assignments.

Job description

Come join the best soccer community at the premier facility in the Front Range and be a part of a team that eats, breathes, and sleeps thinking about soccer. Come kick it with the greatest team around and become a soccer official at Apex!

Games are held 7 days a week throughout the year, typically 6 p.m. - midnight and include both indoor and outdoor youth and adult leagues. If you have a passion for soccer, we have a schedule that will work for you.

Preferred candidates would be skilled at game management and running the score clock, however if you have a strong soccer background, we are willing to train the right people.

We are committed to creating and sustaining a culture that balances competition and sportsmanship. All officials are supported, and management is focused on creating an environment based on respect and fun. Officials will consistently be trained and evaluated to improve their skillset. Abusive play and/or conduct is not tolerated here at the Field House. Our officials are the backbone of our operations and are treated as such.

All officials are eligible for discounted player registration for all Field House soccer leagues, year-round.
