MASTERMIND MEDICINAL FOODS in Redlands Miami is seeking a Packing & Sanitation Associate for our indoor mushroom operation. You will pack, weigh, label, and prepare orders while maintaining a clean, sanitary facility and following safety procedures.

Weekend availability is important, with a focus on Saturdays and/or Sundays. The role involves standing, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 40–50 lbs in a climate-controlled indoor environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Physically capable of repeated lifting and standing.
• Weekend availability (Sat/Sun) is required or preferred.
• Experience in food production or sanitation is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Pack, weigh, label, and prepare fresh mushrooms for orders.
• Inspect mushrooms for quality before packing.
• Assemble boxes and packaging materials.
• Clean and sanitize production rooms, equipment, racks, and surfaces.
• Wash and sanitize harvest bins and reusable tools.
• Remove production waste and keep areas organized.
• Follow established food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Complete basic packing logs and records.
• Assist with harvesting and general farm duties as needed.

Job Description We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Packing & Sanitation Associate to join our indoor mushroom farm team.

WE ARE LOCATED IN REDLANDS MIAMI NEXT TO MONKEY JUNGLE. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT REASONABLY COMMUTE TO THIS LOCATION.

This is a hands-on position in an indoor agriculture environment. The primary responsibilities include packing fresh mushrooms for distribution and maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary production facility.Weekend availability is important, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Pack, weigh, label, and prepare fresh mushrooms for customer orders and distribution.
• Inspect mushrooms for quality before packing.
• Assemble boxes and packaging materials.
• Clean and sanitize production rooms, equipment, racks, floors, and work surfaces.
• Wash and sanitize harvest bins, tools, and reusable equipment.
• Remove production waste and maintain organized work areas.
• Follow established food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Complete basic cleaning and packing logs.
• Assist with harvesting and general farm duties as needed.

Work Environment

This position is located in a climate-controlled indoor agriculture facility. Employees will work in refrigerated and humid growing and packing areas, with temperatures generally ranging from 35°ree;F to 65°ree;F. The position involves standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, bending, lifting, and physical activity.

Qualifications

• Able to safely lift approximately 40–50 lbs.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).

• Training will be provided.
