Responsibilities

  • Guarantee services compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations.
  • Ensure Individuals' rights are met and are of foremost importance.
  • Ensure compliance with company programs, practices, and policies specific to program and client management.
  • All employees are mandated reporters and must report suspected abuse, neglect, and sexual assault.
  • Provide instruction and training for safety and transportation processes.
  • Submit all required paperwork by deadlines including transportation, attendance, and case management records.
  • Coordinate transportation and allocate agency resources effectively.
  • Maintain professional demeanor when working with individuals and the community.
  • Develop and implement direct instruction plans for clients and Job Coaches.
  • Ensure Monthly Progress Reports and client schedules are completed timely.
  • Maintain daily attendance logs and communication with funding agencies.

Job description

Under the supervision of the Director of Employment Services, the IP Coordinator is responsible for assigned case management provided in the Vocational Services Program. This position also provides on-the-job training and support to clients in order to ensure long-term success in community employment. This position has supervisory duties.

  • Must be reliable, dependable, and willing to be flexible with schedule as needed
Essential Duties Include:
  • Guarantee services compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations.
  • Ensure Individual’s rights are met and are of foremost importance.
  • Ensure compliance with company programs, practices, and policies specific to program and client management.
  • All employees are mandated reporters as such you are required to report all suspected incidents of abuse, neglect, and sexual assault in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that Individuals are oriented and trained specific to the companies Safety Program including weekly safety meetings, drills, and maintain records.
  • Understand and submit all paperwork as required by deadline including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies and case management documentation.
  • Provide individuals with continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives that guarantee and correspond with abilities and development.
  • Adhere to internal operating procedures that include, preparing documents of daily cash records, inventory records and daily deposit of cash receipts.
  • Assist Individuals served with coordination of transportation to and from the job site.
  • Execute proper allocation of agency resources (product, space, time, people, etc.).
  • Maintain a courteous, positive, enthusiastic, well-mannered and professional demeanor while working with Individuals served and the community.
  • Develop and implement direct instruction plans for clients and Job Coaches.
  • Ensure that Monthly Progress Reports are completed in a timely manner (Outcomes Report).
  • Ensure each client-training schedule with the maximum number of hours authorized for each client.
  • Maintain daily attendance log for assigned clients.
  • Maintain positive communication with funding agencies, schools, families, and providers.
  • Oversee client assessments to determine client goals, preferences and needs.
  • Assure client plans are implemented, functional, and utilizing agency resources.
  • Maintain timely documentation, transmittal and storage of client files and information.
  • Attend all meetings related to the design or change of client services.
  • Make certain that staff have accurate information regarding clients, and in a timely manner.
  • Guarantee that staff is trained on how to complete data charts and all required reports.
  • Implement client satisfaction surveys.
  • Supply monthly and quarterly updates and reports.
  • Provide direct service coverage when needed.
  • Job development for clients and individual placement.
  • Communicate employer expectations to Job Coaches.
  • Ensure employers are contacted monthly to discuss client and staff needs and performances.
  • Ensure that Individual’s served are being paid according to Department of Labor wage standards.
  • Research of the labor market conditions to identify types of community-based jobs.
  • Maintain evaluations and analysis of the job placement market plan and work environment reports, maintain a development log.
