Job description

Help Grow a Community of Supporters. Help Donors Fund their Wild!

What if your next fundraising success wasn't measured only in dollars raised—but in miles of trails improved, forests restored, children discovering nature for the first time, and families creating lifelong memories in the parks they love?

At Great Parks Forever, philanthropy fuels the future of Hamilton County’s largest park system. As our Individual Giving Manager, you'll play a leading role in inspiring generosity, cultivating lasting donor relationships, and helping transform ambitious conservation and community projects into reality.

This is an opportunity to build a best-in-class individual giving program that celebrates every donor's impact—from first-time supporters to lifelong champions. You'll lead meaningful stewardship experiences, develop innovative fundraising strategies, and help donors see how their generosity protects natural habitats, expands outdoor recreation, preserves local history, and creates healthier communities for generations to come.

We're looking for someone who is equal parts relationship builder, strategist, storyteller, and champion for the outdoors. Someone who believes philanthropy is about people first and who is excited to connect donors with a mission that truly matters.

Our next donor could restore a forest, connect a trail, inspire a child, or preserve a piece of history. Join Great Parks Forever and help turn generosity into lasting impact.

The successful candidate will perform the following responsibilities:
  • Develops a plan to grow annual giving by identifying, prospecting, segmenting, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual donors.

Responsibilities include writing, printing or production, first-class or bulk mailing, creating segmented donor lists, exporting donor information, and managing volunteers.
  • Maintains, updates and manages fundraising database and online email database. Ensures high data quality of all record types in CRM. Utilizes CRM database to create queries and run reports.
  • Researches, builds, and maintains prospect and donor profile records.
  • Creates and implements processes to document notes and conversations with all prospects and donors.
  • Collaborates with Philanthropy & Marketing Administrator to record and process all cash, credit card, recurring, and in-kind donations in fundraising database.
  • Leads Legacy Program including managing inventory, responding to inquiries, collaborating with Conservation & Parks staff, and communicating with donor throughout the process.
  • Assists in solicitation and stewardship for major giving, capital, and planned giving campaigns by identifying prospects from annual giving base, running donor reports, and collaborating in drafting correspondence.
  • Supports major initiatives of the Philanthropy division outside the annual giving program, including grants, sponsorships, cultivation and fundraising events.
  • Manages effective communication of division goals and objectives with other departments, leadership, and peers.
  • Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks of Hamilton County’s policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Represents Great Parks at appropriate networking and information exchange opportunities including conferences, training sessions and seminars.
  • Accounts for cash transactions. Complies with all cash handling policies and enforces cash control procedures.
