Job summary

EY is seeking a senior consultant for unclaimed property services in the United States. The role focuses on identifying risks and planning opportunities, and involves direct client consultations, relationship building, and coaching junior staff.

You will leverage expertise in compliance, audit defense, and property tracking to deliver practical solutions. The position offers a balanced hybrid work model with opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and career advancement within EY's global tax

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience.
CPA certification or Bar membership or IPT designation.
Experience in compliance, audit defence and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.
Experience in unclaimed property compliance and performance advisory.
Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment.
Hybrid model with in-person work ~60% of the time on engagements.

Responsibilities

Engage in client consultations and refine unclaimed property approaches for optimal effectiveness.
Develop strong client relationships and coach junior team members.
Apply extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.
Collaborate in a highly collaborative culture and share information with colleagues.
