  • Expert knowledge of indirect auto lending regulatory requirements and underwriting guidelines.
  • In-depth credit knowledge and skills.
  • Working knowledge of portfolio management.

  • Understands risks and takes appropriate actions as they relate to auto, marine, and recreational financing, including all documentation, and any other requirements to maintain operational integrity.

  • Builds profitable relationships with dealers and customers.
  • Fosters a customer service environment to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • Participates in projects and other activities designed to improve the customer experience.
  • Acts in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements that include, but are not limited to, Anti‑Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Reporting requirements, FCAC consumer provision requirements, and Privacy Act provisions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
  • Adheres to business banking lending processes, policies, procedures, legal, regulatory, audit, and ethical requirements.
  • Liaises between clients and various departments across the organization to discuss issues and procedures and provide product support and expertise.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise‑wide focus.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
