Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in De Soto, Kansas is seeking an Indirect Purchasing Analyst to support procurement for our growing battery manufacturing campus near Kansas City.

You will create and manage requisitions in SAP, monitor open orders, collaborate with Finance and Operations, and help drive data accuracy and process improvements. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in supply chain and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; in some cases experience may substitute education.
• 0-2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing.
• Strong Excel and data entry skills; English language proficiency.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and process purchase requisitions and POs in SAP or ERP.
• Monitor open POs and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable and suppliers.
• Maintain procurement records and audit-ready documentation.
• Support supplier onboarding with required documentation.
• Track order confirmations, shipping, delivery, and inventory needs.
