Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Indirect Procurement Intern to support the Supply Chain team with market analysis and cost optimization during a 12-week on-site program. You will work closely with mentors to apply engineering and industry concepts, gain real-world experience, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

You must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral program in a relevant field with at least one semester remaining and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate program in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or relevant field with at least one semester remaining after internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.

As an Indirect Procurement Intern based at Rocket Lab's site in Long Beach, California, you will have the opportunity to support the Supply Chain Team in conducting market analysis and identifying actionable solutions to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• 6+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.
• Data analytics experience
• Experience with data analysis tools (PowerBI)
• Experience with ERP systems (Infor LN)
• Experience with Python
• Six Sigma experience
• Advance proficiency with Excel
• Supply chain purchasing and procurement experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning January, February, or March 2027

COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

• Pay Range CA: $25.00 USD Hourly
• You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs
• Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
