Job summary

Sinte Gleska University seeks a full-time faculty member to teach Social Science disciplines, including American History, Geography, Political Science, and Anthropology, integrating Indigenous perspectives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the content area required; Doctorate preferred.
• Credentials one degree beyond the courses they teach, or 18 credits in the content area.
• College teaching and curriculum development experience is preferred.
• Faculty must possess cultural competencies with Lakota/Native American communities and be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach the required hours/semester for the academic year.
• Assessment of student performance including grading and reporting grades.
• Maintain 15 office hours per semester.
• Advise students and participate in the registration process.
• Assist with curriculum design for Arts & Sciences Department.
