Job summary

BCAAFC in British Columbia seeks a Graphic Designer & Digital Communications Coordinator to support communications priorities through visual design, social media, and multimedia production.

You will collaborate with the Communications Officer and teams to ensure culturally grounded storytelling that reflects Indigenous communities and Friendship Centres.

The role requires strong design, content creation, and organizational skills, with occasional evenings or travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in graphic design, visual arts, media production, communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 2-3 years of relevant graphic design, digital communications, social media or related work.
• Portfolio or examples demonstrating graphic design, photography, video, social media work.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging print and digital communications materials across campaigns and reports.
• Coordinate social media planning, posting, analytics and engagement.
• Support website and digital content updates with the Communications Officer.
• Create photography, video, and multimedia content reflecting the organization’s work.
