Job summary

Miami Nation Enterprises seeks a Project Specialist to coordinate and develop high‑quality training and technical assistance for Tribal Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) programs. You will support CCDF administration, capacity building, and culturally responsive engagement in diverse tribal communities.

The ideal candidate has a background in project management, administration, or early childhood education, with strong knowledge of CCDF regulations and experience delivering training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, administration, early childhood education or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in early childhood services and diverse communities.
• Experience delivering training and technical assistance in CCDF/Head Start contexts.
• Knowledge of CCDF regulations, Head Start standards, and relevant laws.
• Ability to develop training content and communicate clearly.
• Experience coordinating teams and tracking project milestones.
• Strong knowledge of current child development practices and quality improvement methods.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, and SmartSheet.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Federally recognized Tribes and Native communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop high quality training and technical assistance for CCDF programs.
• Support cross‑regional trainings, webinars, and TA delivery to tribal providers.
• Develop TA materials, issue briefs, handouts, and presentation kits.
• Ensure resources meet 508 coding specifications and OCC style guidelines.
• Lead and participate in workgroups and planning meetings.
• Monitor resource development, publish outputs, and track progress against plan.
• Collaborate with SME teams to deliver national trainings and communities of practice.
• Prepare monthly/annual program reports and maintain program timelines.
• Support logistics for events, registrations, and virtual platforms as needed.
