Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) to provide high‑quality behavioral health services onsite. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents and adults in PHP/IOP settings.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
  • Valid Independent state licensure in the state of Colorado (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • If eligible, support associate-licensed clinicians with formal clinical supervision as part of Guidelight’s program.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological and biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors to ensure continuity of care.
  • Complete suicide risk assessments within identified time frames with thoroughness and scoring.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to determine length of stay and level of care.
  • Identify community resources based on clients' needs during treatment and aftercare planning.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines and stay updated on research in behavioral therapy.

Education

Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
Independent state licensure in Colorado (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Behavioral therapy experience

Title: Clinical Therapist, Full Licensed

Reports to: Executive Director

Department / Location: Onsite

FLSA Status: Exempt

Role Summary: The Therapist willbe responsible forproviding high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions. Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians in working toward licensure.

Schedule: Position is fulltime, 40 hours per week, 100% onsite at the Cherry Creek location; Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Position is working with both adolescents and adults in PHP/IOP.

  • Conduct psychologicalandbiopsychosocialassessments and evaluations todetermineclients' needs.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensiveandcontinuityofcare.
  • Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.
  • Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.
  • Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships
  • Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid Independent state licensure in the state of Colorado (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate‑level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state‑specific supervisory requirements.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant PHP/IOP experience
  • GroupFacilitationexperience
