Job summary

Sunrise in Washington, UT is seeking a part-time cook to prepare meals for clients and staff at Embark Behavioral Health's Sunrise long-term Mental Health Residential Treatment Center. The role involves cooking two meals daily, handling snacks, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness and safety in a supportive, group setting for youths aged 12–17.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with independent responsibilities and collaboration with residential staff to serve meals

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of cooking experience.
• Food Handler's Permit required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Knowledge of health codes and proper sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2 meals each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients and staff.
• Prepare mid-meal snacks, ensuring food is always readily available.
• Assist in food preparation and storage.
• Oversee the overall cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the kitchen.
• Prepare food ahead of time for the following day's menu.
• Collaborate with residential staff to serve meals in a timely manner.
