Job summary

American Endovascular and Amputation Prevention is seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or RVT/RVS to join our Harlem-area vascular lab. Independent scanning of lower extremity arterial and venous duplex studies is required, with emphasis on image optimization and accurate interpretation.

The role demands proficiency in DVT evaluation, venous reflux testing, and maintaining lab protocols.

Qualifications

• RVT certification (ARDMS) preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of independent vascular ultrasound experience.
• Proficiency in lower extremity arterial and venous duplex imaging.
• Strong image optimization and acquisition skills.
• Ability to interpret findings and correlate with clinical data.
• Knowledge of vascular lab safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete lower extremity arterial duplex exams (CFA → pedal arteries).
• Perform complete lower extremity venous duplex exams (DVT, reflux).
• Optimize imaging with grayscale, color, and Doppler settings.
• Correlate findings with patient history and communicate results promptly.
• Maintain high-volume lab workflow efficiency.
• Operate and troubleshoot vascular ultrasound equipment and ensure protocol compliance.
