Job summary

AEXP Express Corporation in Clearlake Oaks, CA seeks a mail delivery driver/mail carrier for a USPS route. You will load, deliver, and dismount as needed along a fixed line of travel.

Six days per week, about 10 hours daily, you provide your own vehicle. Compensation is $300 per day as a 1099 contractor, paid monthly. Candidates must meet legal and physical requirements including lifting 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have legal documentation to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Clearlake Oaks, CA.
• Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.
