Job summary

Bluewater Federal is seeking an Independent Test Lead to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. The role centers on leading testing for BMx systems and ensuring deployment readiness and compliance with milestones.

The candidate should have 8+ years of software testing experience, an active Secret clearance, and strong skills in test strategy development, integration and automated testing (Selenium/UFT). This position is based on-site in Montgomery, AL.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise software testing experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with integration testing, regression testing, automated testing, Selenium/UFT, release validation, and test strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent testing and validation activities for BMx systems and releases.
• Develop test strategies, acceptance criteria, and validation approaches.
• Manage integration, regression, operational, and release testing efforts.
• Coordinate testing activities independent from development teams.
• Validate modernization initiatives, interface behavior, and deployment readiness.
• Support operational readiness reviews and release certification activities.
• Monitor testing metrics, defect trends, and quality indicators.
