Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking RoofField Inspectors to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. You will conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge technology to document conditions accurately.

Applicants must own a reliable vehicle with a 32' ladder and have or be able to obtain a LiDAR device.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely inspect roofs, including steep and high pitches.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on thorough documentation.
• Empathy when dealing with insureds and property owners.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to operate as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments on steep and high roofs and document exterior and interior damage.
• Perform underwriting property inspections using field technology.
• Collaborate with insurance partners to provide accurate, timely inspection reports.
• Support safety and quality standards to prevent further property damage before repairs.
