Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in state of employment or compact.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor side effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Educate patients and families, assess learning needs and resources.
