Job summary

Winston Retail in Checotah, OK is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser to provide ongoing store support and manage project-based merchandising initiatives across leading brands. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate, with project-based work guiding daily tasks.

You will work independently, build strong relationships with store teams, execute displays, maintain planograms, and report results using mobile tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and move in retail environments.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable working in cold store environments (refrigerated/freezer sections).
• Experience in retail merchandising preferred and planogram experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotions with precision.
• Build and maintain relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and feedback using mobile reporting tools.
• Communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates to management.
• Manage schedules and store visits to ensure deliverables on time.
• Maintain quality, professionalism, and accountability across assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
