Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to service major retailers and brands. This role offers flexible, project-based work and opportunities to earn supplemental income.

Assignments typically range from 12-20 hours per month, with service windows aligning to retailer needs. Travel between locations is expected, and reporting is completed via a mobile device for each project.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.
