Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Staff Scientist to perform independent scientific research including complex laboratory testing, experiments and analysis following established protocols.

This role designs and develops research objectives, analyzes findings, assists in grant applications and prepares publications, with opportunities to present results.

Requires a doctorate and at least three years post-doctoral experience; occasional travel between Sanford sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a doctorate degree in a clinical, health, or life science field.
• Minimum of three years post-doctoral experience in related subject field of study. Equivalent to Instructor. Management experience is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent scientific research including complex laboratory testing, experiments and analysis following established protocols.
• Design and develop research objectives for experimentation, analyze data, and prepare publications.
• Assist in completion of grant applications and other regulatory documents; present results to teams and sponsors.
