Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical care at the Monroe County Children's Detention Center in Rush, NY. You will work autonomously as the primary onsite APR, while collaborating with the Medical Director and staff to ensure high-quality care for pediatric and adolescent patients.

The role offers a strong emphasis on independent practice, with weekdays schedule, no evenings or weekends, and opportunities to shape and grow an expanding program

Qualifications

• Independent practice experience preferred due to autonomous setting.
• Experience caring for pediatric and adolescent populations.
• Strong documentation and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and urgent medical care within the detention center.
• Serve as the primary onsite advanced practice provider and collaborate with leadership as needed.
• Coordinate patient care with staff and ensure continuity of services.
• Contribute to workflow development and program expansion.
• Maintain thorough medical documentation in compliance with standards.
