Job summary

APPS Paramedical Services is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health examination and information provider. Independent contractors can schedule their own hours and work anywhere in the state of Iowa, performing mobile health exams, venipuncture, ECGs, and health interviews.

Qualified professionals must have current licensure or relevant experience; one year of phlebotomy experience with at least 100 draws, a valid driver's license, and own transportation are required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent phlebotomy experience with at least 100 successful draws.
• Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills.
• Must have computer access (laptop with camera or tablet and mobile phone).
• Own transportation with valid insurance and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile paramedical exams (health history, vitals, specimen collection).
• Non-interpretive ECG tracings; ECG machines not required to be owned by examiner.
• Self-schedule caseload; accept/decline cases as it’s your business.
• Maintain strong communication with regional office staff regarding case status.
