Job summary

South Sound Radiology in Olympia, WA is seeking a Sonographer to join our outpatient team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with independence, using clinical judgment and expertise to deliver high-quality imaging.

Minimum one year of independent sonography experience is required, with ARDMS registry and BLS/CPR certification. Regular full-time, weekday schedule with competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program is required.
• Active ARDMS registry.
• Current certification in a healthcare provider BLS/CPR.
• One year of experience as an independent monographer.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging to facility and ACR standards.
• Assist patients to obtain high-quality imaging.
• Assist radiologist with specialized procedures.
• Prepare sterile trays.
• Screen orders in advance of appointments for precautions.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
• Monitor and organize patient flow to meet productivity and safety standards.
• De-escalate conflicts when possible and escalate as needed.
