Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in biomedical science, bioengineering, neuroscience, or a related field, or an MD or equivalent degree.
• Experience leading independent, extramurally funded research programs is preferred.
• Experience in translational drug research and tumor biology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an independent, extramurally funded research program in otolaryngology.
• Design and conduct original research studies and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Secure federal and foundation funding and manage lab personnel and operations.
• Collaborate with clinical and surgical faculty on translational research efforts.
• Mentor and teach trainees.
