Job summary

Aspirus Iron River Hospital and Clinics is seeking an Orthopedics Advanced Practice Provider to join our Iron River, Michigan team. You will deliver full-spectrum orthopedic care for all ages, with independence and strong collaboration across the regional orthopedic team.

Qualifications

• Full-time orthopedic APP with no on-call requirements.
• Provide full-spectrum general orthopedic care across all ages.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Perform in-clinic procedures such as splinting, casting, and joint injections.
• Wound care management with certification or ability to obtain it.
• Work independently in an autonomous practice while collaborating with a regional team.
• Preference for prior orthopedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum general orthopedic care to patients of all ages.
• Oversee pre- and post-operative management.
• Perform in-clinic procedures like splinting, casting, and injections.
• Provide wound care management with required certification.
• Collaborate with a regional orthopedic team to ensure continuity of care.
• Operate with a high degree of clinical autonomy in an independent practice.
