Job summary

Walmart stores are inviting an Independent Optometrist leasing space to lead patient care in eye and vision health within the retail environment.

You will determine your own days of practice and hours, while maintaining autonomy over professional fees and care standards, contributing to convenient community access to vision services.

Qualifications

• OD from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license.
• Ophthalmologist MD/DO with valid state ophthalmology license.
• General Liability Certificate and Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Launch your optometry services in Walmart stores.
• Provide eye/vision care and general health guidance to patients.
• Set your days of practice and hours of operation.
• Keep 100% of exam/professional fees; insurance and admin handled as applicable.
• Access equipment and administrative/Opt-Tech support where state allows.

As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our Walmart stores you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and wellbeing.

As an independent lease holder you have the autonomy to:

• Establish your days of practice
• Establish your hours of operation
• Keep 100 of exam/professional fees

For a fair market value you can opt into

• Equipment instrumentation
• Administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows)

Minimum Qualifications for a lease agreement:

• Doctor of Optometry OD from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license
• Ophthalmologist MD or DO from an accredited school
• Valid state ophthalmology license
• General Liability Certificate
• Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
