Self-employed drivers can rent a van or use their own (3m or longer) and will coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle type.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations in the area of operation.
• Good communication with clients and team members.
• Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Safety and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Load and unload items, sometimes heavy, and secure them during transit.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers about delivery times and delays.
• Complete paperwork such as delivery logs and receipts.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior with clients and colleagues.
• Operate as a self-employed driver leveraging provided or personal van.
