Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1+ years Registered Mammography technologist required within 1 year.
• Knowledge of MQSA standards and QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography testing and procedures for patients.
• Maintains patient privacy and safety per HIPAA and hospital policies.
• Assists radiologists as needed and adheres to ALARA and Image Gently standards.
• Maintains logs and billing codes in RIS and patient sheets.
• Educates patients on procedures and positions patients for accurate images.
