Job summary

Freedom Square of Seminole in Seminole, FL, is seeking an energetic line cook to provide full-scope, hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department, learning from our world-class chefs. If you are detail oriented, customer-service focused, and have at least one year of cooking experience in a restaurant or senior living setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to understand measurements and conversions.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per policy and procedure.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
