Job summary

Open Sky Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Residential Counselor in Massachusetts to provide direct care, guidance, and skill-building support in residential and community settings.

You will assist individuals with daily living activities, transportation, and personal goals, while promoting safety and independence. The role emphasizes advocacy, community engagement, and person-centered planning, with additional hourly differentials for certain positions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
