Job summary

Harvest Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Independent Living Services (ILS) Professional to provide non-medical support to adults with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. The role focuses on developing practical skills that promote independence, self-sufficiency, safety, and quality of life, aligned with IPP goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in supportive roles, strong communication, and a compassionate, professional approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a supporting role working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Experience providing direct support, independent living assistance, community integration, behavioral support, caregiving, DSP services, ILS, or related human services.
• Ability to work independently while following an individual’s authorized service plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide Independent Living Services based on IPP and service plan.
• Assist adults with developing and maintaining independent living skills.
• Coach individuals in daily living and community-based skills as authorized.
• Teach household management, meal planning, budgeting, shopping, and navigation.
• Support transportation training, communication, self-advocacy, and safety awareness.
• Maintain boundaries, respect confidentiality, and document progress timely.
