Job summary

The IMA Group in Houston is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct disability evaluations as an independent contractor in an office-based setting. This evaluation-only role emphasizes measurement, testing, and reporting, with no therapy or on-call demands.

You will perform MSEs, cognitive and functional assessments, and produce succinct reports. Flexibility is offered since compensation is per evaluation and schedule is self-determined.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology required.
• Active Texas Psychologist license.
• Experience administering and interpreting assessments.
• Ability to evaluate patients aged 4 and up.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological disability evaluations, including Mental Status Exams (MSEs) and psychological testing
• Assess cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities relevant to disability determinations
• Evaluate how psychological conditions affect daily functioning and work capacity
• Complete streamlined electronic reports using an efficient documentation system
