Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or licensed independent social worker (LISW).
- Experience working in a nursing home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to clients in nursing homes.
- Collaborate with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
- Follow up with patients to assess treatment efficacy.
- Educate best practices in patient care.
- Integrate non-pharmacological interventions.
