The position requires a valid RN license in the state, a minimum of two years nursing experience (L&D preferred), and BLS certification. Weekend shifts are required; no on-call shifts are approved.

Qualifikationen

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably with Labor and Delivery or related specialties.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, OB triage, and outpatient populations.
• Manage labor patients independently, with backup support available as needed.
• Assist with postpartum and nursery care when patient volume and staffing require.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and on-call team members for patient support.
• Maintain compliance with AWHONN guidelines whenever possible.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care in a rural hospital environment.
