Per-case compensation applies as part of an independent contractor (1099) arrangement. The position involves in-person evaluations, thorough medical-record reviews, and timely IME reports, with no doctor-patient relationship, no treatment,

Qualifications

• Board-certified orthopedic surgeon.
• Experience performing Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Thorough review of Medical Records.
• Perform in-person evaluations of patients with orthopedic issues.
• Respond to clinical queries to support claims management.
• Deliver detailed IME reports within a 5-day turnaround.
