Job summary

Inspired Home Care is expanding and hiring PRN and Part Time Home Care RNs to manage their own caseload in patients' homes across the Illinois area.

The role emphasizes compassionate, one-on-one patient care, with responsibilities including performing Oasis assessments, wound care, vital signs, meds review, and collaborating with a broader care team. Travel between patients is required, and strong time management is essential.

Qualifications

• State RN license required.
• 1 year of experience in in-home care.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to travel to multiple patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart observations.
• Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review, Oasis assessment, wound care and IV therapy.
• Dress or re-dress open wounds and assess healing progress.
• Educate patients and families on home health care strategies.
• Coordinate with therapists, physicians and others involved in the care plan.
• Make recommendations for devices or tools to improve quality of life.
• Listen to patient concerns and respond to requests.
