Job summary

FeldCare Connects is seeking a self-motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver premier home health care in the Antioch area as an Independent Contractor.

The PTA will ensure treatment plans are followed, perform interventions to improve wellbeing, and document patient progress in coordination with the care team. License and PTA education required; bilingual is a plus, and flexible scheduling is offered to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant per state laws.
• Completion of PTA curriculum approved by recognized bodies.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide services defined by state laws governing a PTA in accordance with the plan of care.
• Help patients use therapeutic and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to their condition.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapy areas they can participate in.
